Mechanism
A conditional deep-dive into mechanical and electronic systems.

What this step does
When a product has moving parts or electronics, Mechanism walks you through the considerations a designer with mechanical and electronics literacy would raise, at the right altitude for industrial design, not a full engineering sim.
It covers three modules: Mechanical (load paths, weight distribution, motion, vibration), Electronics (power, motors, sensors, control, thermal), and Material physics (which stresses each structural part bears, captured for later).
What you do here
- 1Work through the adaptive questions for each module, just like Q&A.
- 2Review the reasoned checklist Lens assembles: it surfaces what to design around.
- 3Carry the output forward: it enriches your sketches, parts list, and bill of materials.
